My story of self has three major components: media production, public relations, and advocacy. Public relations at nonprofits has been my means the last three years to combine the technical skills I have learned in production with the passion I have for serving Earth and serving others. Between 2012-2013, I produced, directed, wrote, filmed, and edited over a dozen marketing and training videos to give a voice to the working poor and immigrants around the state of Florida. I took thousands of photos and managed social media to empower those hardworking individuals. Between 2013-2015, I organized over 8 events, managed social media, and created graphics and images to help put parenting resources directly into the hands of Louisiana’s parents.
For the past eight years, I have worked in television studios and at sporting events. I have directed, filmed, produced audio, edited video, and set and lit studios for the likes of WFSU-TV PBS, WCTV CBS, the New Orleans Pelicans, and the ESPN family of networks, including the SEC Network. I am a passionate advocate for local communities, sports, art, and nature and have had the fortune of featuring each of these in my positions.
My ideal job or freelance position will work intimately with one of the four passions listed above. I will be a leader in the creative process of this position but also work intimately with the client, audience, and other teammates.
