Alex Soare has over 12 years experience in Business Development ranging from transportation to technology on top of his work in the arts. After serving as the CEO of the start up Artrise (2007 - 2013) an online platform focused on connecting artists with businesses his career shifted towards Opera.

Recently, he has performed leading roles at several opera houses around the country and world including Florida Grand Opera, Opera Hong Kong, Des Moines Metro Opera, Nashville Opera, Winter Opera St. Louis, Cedar Rapids Opera Theatre, Aspen Opera Theatre, Opera Saratoga, Opera North, Finger Lakes Opera, and Brava Opera Theatre. Alex has also been a prize winner or finalist in the Viñas International Singing Competition In Barcelona, The Metropolitan Opera National Council, The Marcello Giordani Vocal Competition, the Jensen Foundation Vocal Competition, The Bel Canto Foundation, The Mary Jacobs Smith Singer of the Year Competition and the The National Society of Arts and Letters. Alex completed his studies at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria and Northwestern University.
