Alex Santoso Tennis School

My name is Alex; I am a licensed ITF and PELTI tennis and conditioning coach based in Jakarta and founder of Alex Santoso Tennis School.

I am a former no. 1 ranked junior tennis player (U14) in Indonesia and member of the Junior Davis Cup team. In 1998, I started my coaching career, and prior to becoming independent I was Head Coach at Borobudur Club for 10 years. During my time at Borobudur Club I developed several nationally ranked juniors from scratch, three of which received tennis scholarships from American universities.

My mission is to teach players of all ages and abilities to make tennis a fun and enjoyable experience, whilst guiding you towards being the best that you can be in a supportive and nurturing environment.

If you are a beginner wanting to learn to play tennis, or already play but want to improve your game, I provide private and group lessons for all ages and abilities.

On Saturday, I conduct a Mini Tennis Clinic for players aged 7 to 12 at Alex Santoso Tennis School. Shortened courts, modified balls, and smaller racquets are used to develop vital skills and techniques at an early age. The "Mini Tennis" programme was designed by the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) and is widely adopted in France and England.

All locations are equipped with floodlit indoor (and outdoor) hard courts and changing facilities. Please note that the above locations are subject to change and that I may be able to accommodate other locations within reasonable proximity.
