Alexxis Brown
Coach Redd
With about seven years of coaching experience, I am passionate about helping athletes develop their volleyball skills, enhance their performance, and foster a love for the game. Currently, I serve as the Head Coach for the Varsity Reserve team at Oklahoma Wesleyan University, where I lead athletes to unlock their full potential on and off the court.
I began playing volleyball at 11 and competed at Oklahoma Wesleyan University for all four years of my collegiate career. Additionally, I played club volleyball from 8th grade through high school. I started training private lessons in my junior year of college and have taught entire teams since 2020. My experience includes coaching at Wesleyan Christian High School, working with BAVC and Club Ace, and being the JV Head Coach at OKWU since 2023. My collegiate achievements include being named to the OSN 2nd All-Team in my senior year and receiving KCAC Defender of the Week during my final week.
Originally from Southern California, I have made Bartlesville, Oklahoma, my home since graduating from OKWU. In addition to coaching, I will am waiting to attain my Licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist-Candidacy and will begin my Doctoral in Psychology with Sports Performance , which helps me develop the mental resilience young athletes need. I also aspire to become a clinical sports psychologist to encourage and empower athletes of all ages.
Join me for volleyball lessons where we will focus on:
- Skill development (serving, passing, setting, hitting, blocking, defense)
- Strategy and game IQ
- Confidence and mental toughness
- Teamwork and leadership
Thank you for considering me to train your youth, and I’m excited to help them learn and grow both on and off the court!
