Alhalji Alhassan Sesay

Alhalji Alhassan Sesay is an avid human rights defender from Sierra Leone.

Alhaji has represented his country at:

• 2010 Global YES Summit in Sweden
• 2009 Global Youth Summit in London, UK
• 2009 UNESCO World Conference on ESD, Bonn, Germany
• 2009 OECD Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development in Paris, France
• 2008 World Urban Youth Forum in Nanjin, China

Alhaji has taken active roles in drafting the National Children's Strategy and the Children's Rights Law in Sierra Leone. He also served as an Obsever in the 2007 and 2008 Sierra Leone Presidential, Parliamentary and Local Government Elections.
