Chioma Ali

Chioma is a Microbiologist with over 4years experience in tutoring young people. She currently volunteers as facilitator for the Book pool project of the Kachem Young Initiative by giving self help books to mentees to foster education, capacity building and information literacy. Chioma founded Start Right Academy - an intensive training institute where children are taught how to study for at least 4 hours a day in order to help them build good reading culture. Chioma is passionate about personal development and capacity building of youths. In the next five years she plans to train over 5000 youths in basic reading and writing skills to enable them become more effective students who can win scholarships and in turn have excellent education.
