Dr Alice Elwell is a teacher, leader, and researcher. As Head of English at an International Baccalaureate school, she has co-designed curricula with Year 11 and 12 students and is passionate about inquiry, student voice, and democratic schooling practices. In addition to her school role, Alice is a sessional academic tutoring in English curriculum and sociology of education. Her research interests include feminist pedagogies, critical affective literacy, posthuman methodologies, and theory as method.
