Alice Peterson
Alice has published two non-fiction books, (Another Alice, M’Coben, Place of Ghosts) and seven novels (Letters From My Sister, You, Me and Him, Monday to Friday Man, Ten Years On, By My Side, One Step Closer to You, The Things We Do For Love. Her next novel, A Song for Tomorrow, inspired by a true story, is going to be published by Simon & Schuster next February, 2017.
Alice’s writing is funny, romantic, powerful and emotional. At the heart of each novel is a love story but what makes Alice truly stand out in her genre is her talent to write hard-hitting and thought-provoking themes within her storylines – such as addiction and disability. Her protagonists often have to overcome adversity, based on Alice’s own experience of a professional tennis career cut short at the age of 18 when she was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. This gives her a unique perspective on real life issues that she translates with deep compassion, empathy and her trademark humour; issues that resonate with her growing readership and that have the potential of reaching and touching millions more.
