Alrighty then. About me? Hmm. Born and bred in Trinidad and Tobago, which would be paradise on earth if it wasn't for people's worldly pursuits, and currently living near Vienna, Austria with hubby of over 20 years and cat Angel.

Studied Journalism and Communication Sciences at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland, also French and German at the University of London. Currently finishing off my BEd in Information and Communication Technology at the PH in Vienna.

Contributed to blogs and sites on the topic of Apple, tech, apps, iOS and OS X.

Founded 2 music projects Alibee (pop) andSlave called shiver (rock) - composed songs and sang them. Making music has been one of life's greatest pleasures and I hope to re-enter a productive creative musical phase in future.

At the moment I am enjoying an exciting existence as a teacher and educator at two Vienna Middle Schools. I've taught almost all my adult life but it was only a few years ago I decided to take a sidestep and leave my job at Mars to become a teacher in a classroom. A job I consider to be challenging but indeed very rewarding. My teaching philosophy is student-centered, media-supported and challenge-based. Engaging and motivating students is hard work, but very much possible.

I aim to create possibilities that allow my students to experience flow, success and aha-moments!

As eLearning and eLSA coordinator at Anton-Krieger-Gasse, I'm currently working on projects to foster eLearning in the classroom and creating a concept to introduce iPad teaching at our school.
