An administrator with experience in a variety of fields and industries, Alicia Procello Maddox holds a bachelor of arts in anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley, and a master of public health from the University of Michigan. She began her career as a health educator with Planned Parenthood, presenting an educational curriculum in pregnancy prevention to 25 different schools in the Los Angeles and Pomona unified school districts.

Alicia Procello Maddox went on to oversee a portfolio of more than 60 grants as an administrator with the California Wellness Foundation. She currently heads grantmaking and corporate social responsibility for the global packaging conglomerate Avery Dennison.

When she isn’t busy with the Avery Dennison Foundation, Ms. Procello Maddox embraces volunteerism as a member of Volunteers of America Los Angeles. She has also served in various board and cabinet positions with the YWCA, the United Way, Southern California Grantmakers, and the Southern California Public Health Association.
