Alicia Snider

Bonjour ! I’m Alicia Snider (formerly Alicia Taylor...I'm approximately a month into marriage and am having a VERY hard time keeping the excitement to myself, bear with me). I’m a French and English LTO living in Waterloo, Ontario.

This summer I'm an intern at one of my absolute favourite places to be - Slate Church. I love listening to music when driving, marking, painting and writing (clean versions only). I enjoy cooking things that are a little too spicy for the average guest, travelling as affordably as possible, camping and (prioritizing, almost to a fault) spending quality time with friends and family despite how busy a season of life I'm in.

I LOVE THIS PROFESSION for all of the learning it affords both students and teachers alike. I think teenagers are brilliant and I invest a lot of energy into guarding my tendency towards believing the best of every person I come in contact with. I hope that lends itself well to becoming a Guidance Counselor in the future.
