Alicia Sophia is a „digital native” of the first hour and combines a creative mindset and an entrepreneurial attitude with 20 years of professional experience in digital communication.

Her current focus is the analysis and support of new digital technologies on their settlement into societies and our day-to-day routine. She is a blockchain enthusiast and fan of decentralization, also a NewWork activist with strong ties into social fairness and sustainability.

In her daily work Alicia Sophia accompanies businesses into and through digital transformation processes, provides consultancy for start-ups in all questions around communication and CRM, evaluates on new business opportunities based on latest digital technology and develops custom-tailored marketing strategies.

One of these projects led to the ideation and development of an Industrial IoT Smart Wearable called CROVE, aiming to make manual hand moves in Industry 4.0 environments faster, more precise and intuitive. Alicia Sophia is the Co-Founder & CEO of EngageLabs - Home of CROVE.

As part of her engagement as adjuct professor for eBusiness & Entrentrepreneurship at the FOM university she is researching on EmbraceToken project, a blockchain initiative that will empower social work and helps to find an answer to the impending labour crisis caused by AI and robotics.

Alicia Sophia holds an M.B.A. in International Entrepreneurship and a B.A. in Communications and Social Sciences. Her home base is Berlin, further work places are London, New York and Montréal.

Next to her professional activities she isvolunteering as Lay Judge at the district court (Landgericht) Berlin and engaged in D64, a political think tank aiming to think digitalization from a society standpoint.
