I'm a very content 65-year-old mother and grandmother, my 2 proudest claims to fame. My daughter is a deputy sherrif and has 3 children. My son, senior creative producer w/ Blue Sky Films and aspiring screen writer, has no children yet but in 2009 he cinvinced a beautiful and smart woman, to marry him, so you never know :) . My kids are great people. I really like them as human beings. My 19-year-old granddaughter was a fine soccer player for a number of years but multiple concussions put an end to that. She had instincts that you just can't teach. She has a smile that will light up any room and an attitude that would put Garfield to shame. Currently she is the darling of the deli community in Rochester, NY. My 18-year-old also played soccer but was drawn more towards cheerleading, which she did both recreationally and for her HS. She's done a little acting, too, playing an orphan in her school's production of "Annie". She also has a beautiful singing voice, taking after her mother rather than me, thank goodness. Currently she is in her first year of college at SVU and loving it. The 8-year-old is the love of my life. Because of his mother's complicated work schedule, I get to spend a lot of time with him. I'm not sure I ever thought anyone could be so delightful. I think both my daughter and I believe he presents us with an opportunity to raise him as a decent man and perhaps make up to the world for some of the lousy men we have known :) . David has done a great job of contributing to the pool of admirable men, but the world needs more. Both of my children are extremely funny and creative, gifts they inherited from their father. And they are both musical, with beautiful voices. My daughter and son can take raw material and make something wonderful with it after just envisioning it in their heads. I, on the other hand, am the logical/practical/mathmatical one in the gene pool. I love to make things, too, but I have to follow a pattern, recipe or illustration. The REAL creativity lies in conceiving the pattern, not in following it. But that's okay; there needs to be some of both kinds of people in this world. I used to live in a modest but perfect-for-me TH surrounded by flowers, but in 2008 I rented out my home of 27 years and moved into my daughter's basement. We are going to be working quite hard doing lots of improvements, w
