Ali Ghoz FRCS (Tr. & Orth.), MRCS (Eng), MSc (Oxon.), MRCS (Ed), MB BCh Fellowship (AOA) is a British Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Hip and Knee Surgeon and Professor of Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery, living and working in London.

Born in 1976, Ghoz has gained many medical qualifications, including an MSc in Musculoskeletal Sciences from Oxford University in 2013. Ghoz also gained an FRCS (Trauma & Orthopaedics), an MB BCh (CUH), an Anatomy Demonstrator Diploma, and an MRCS in both Edinburgh and England.

Ghoz has specialised in lower limb surgery, more specifically knee soft-tissue reconstruction, knee arthroscopy, adult hip & knee arthroplasty, and trauma & sports medicine, with a subspecialist interest in revision hip and knee surgery. Ghoz’s professional interests can be found in the papers and articles that he has co-authored over the past few decades.

Ali Ghoz publications can be found in several well-respected medical and orthopaedic journals, such as Current Orthopaedics, the European Journal of Orthopaedic Surgery & Traumatology, Orthopaedic & Trauma Times, Injury, and Cases Journal. Ghoz co-authored the paper titled ‘Use of Quixil in Reducing Blood Loss in Revision Hip Arthroplasty’ which was published in 2015 in The Open Orthopaedics Journal; ‘Outcomes of Dual Modular Cementless Femoral Stems in Revision Hip Arthroplasty’ which was published in Orthopaedics Reviews from March 2014; and ‘Ilizarov Fixator Pin Site Care: The Role of Crusts in the Prevention of Infection’ which was included in the July 2013 issue of Injury.

Ghoz is currently working in the field of Trauma & Orthopaedic surgery, with positions at both BUPA Cromwell Hospital and The London Clinic. He also consults at the Chelsea Bridge Clinic.
