I write like a telephone.

Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. The number keys beep away as you press them. And you hear a ringing. And then you anxiously wait for what’s on the other end. That is what my writing sounds like. Because my writing is like a telephone. The idea of it is always there, just waiting to be put into use. Sometimes it is busy and sometimes it is not. It can go in many directions, and take you to many places. It may stay close to its origins, other times wandering far. What you get from it is always different. Sometimes it is good and sometimes it is bad. Busy. Simple. Many places. Close. Far. Always different. Good. Bad. Whatever it might be, it is usually not what was expected. Because my writing is like a telephone. It looks simple at a first glance, but on the inside it is very complex. There are many different pieces, all doing their own job. Because my writing is like a telephone. It changes, depending on my mood, or the world around me. Thriving off of others and being charged by new ideas. Because my writing is like a telephone.
