Examination Coordinator in Dhanmondi, Dhaka, Bangladesh

Mir Ali Musa Chowdhury is a media professional and academic administrator with a background in communication and media studies. Currently serving as the Examination Coordinator at Pathshala South Asian Media Institute, a constituent institute of the University of Dhaka, he manages exam logistics, result processing, and administrative support. His tenure at Pathshala includes previous roles as an Assistant Faculty Coordinator and Intern, where he gained experience in academic administration, curriculum support, and student-faculty liaison.

Creative & Technical Expertise Beyond administration, Mir has significant experience in visual media. He has worked as a Cinematographer for TrashBox Digital and Shadows Media, contributing to projects funded by UN Women and NABIC regarding community building and rehabilitation. His core competencies include:

Media Production: Cinematography (documentary and interview), Photography (portrait and fine art), and content creation for social media.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and Audition, as well as digital archiving and website maintenance.

Languages: Native proficiency in Bangla, professional working proficiency in English, and limited working proficiency in French.

Education & Training

Bachelor of Social Science (BSS) in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Development Alternative (UODA), graduated in 2022.

Professional Training: Completed multiple courses in Photography and Cinematography at Pathshala, as well as Graphic Design at SR Institute of Design.

Volunteering & Achievements Mir is actively involved in social development and youth organizations. He is a volunteer for UNICEF Bangladesh and a member of the United Nations Youth and Students Association of Bangladesh (UNYSAB).

Awards: Received a Certificate of Recognition from the United Nations 80th Anniversary Youth Photo Contest (2025).

Activities: Participated in the 1st National Youth Summit on SDGs and various workshops on cinema and skill development.
