Alina Thompson is a Gainesville-based childcare provider with experience in outdoor education, organic cooking, and care for children ages 3 months to 15 years. She has taught science and nutrition through school gardens, worked as a camp counselor in Vermont for three summers, as a pre-school teacher's assistant, a nanny for various families with infants to school-age children and as a mother's helper.
Overall she has six years experience working with children. She is a skilled caregiver and household assistant who brings creativity and kindness with her always. She is flexible and ready to help out wherever an extra set of hands is needed.
Currently Alina is working toward an accelarated nursing degree and will be spending the school year completing prerequisite science courses before applying to the University of Florida for Summer 2013. While in school, she would love to work with children part-time.
