Bellingham, Washington

If I had to choose one word to describe myself it would be, happy. I am a very positive person and I always have a smile on for everyone. I am currently a student at Western Washington University. I am a musician in the WWU Symphonic Band, playing the flute. My main focus in school is teaching, I am a teacher in training and hope to teach Elementary Education when I graduate. But my main goal in life is to become a public speaker who hosts conferences about the US public education reform. My dream would be to have my very own 'Ted Talk' and discuss the serious need for change in the US education system. Above is my favorite public speaker, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Some of my hobbies are soccer and baking. I am a cat and dog person, and I want to one day be able to travel to Europe.
