Alinser Hoyos has worked in several cross functional teams in diverse Business Development, Marketing, and Account Management positions within the Retail, Entertainment and Out-of-Home Advertising industries. After joining a music distribution company in NYC, he helped penetrate, develop and increase market share in the South West territory of the United States. He worked with various international companies that gave him experience in international markets, and establishing business relations with 500 Fortune companies such as Walmart and Best Buy. In Toronto, he freelanced with Sony BMG Canada boosting traditional and social media marketing campaigns. He was instrumental in the expansion of new marketing efforts by implementing new technologies, and utilizing various social media platforms. These efforts increased artists’ recognition, brand awareness, and fan base. His client relations and personnel management experience allowed him to collaborate with the event planning and execution of events with various companies involved with TIFF, the MMVAs, Canadian Music Week, and fundraising events where he also assisted political figures, dignitaries, and celebrities. After completing a B. Comm. Degree in Marketing and eCommerce, he joined Clear Channel Outdoor. Working in project management under the VP of Operations & Production, Alinser collaborated with various advertising agencies such as Leo Burnett, Sid Lee, Dentsu Bos, and BBDO in many experiential marketing and advertising campaigns for brands such as American Express, Apple, Samsung, TD and HSBC. His major accomplishment was his involvement with a major project at Pearson International Airport in Toronto. Besides his experience in marketing and promotions, he has worked on a freelance basis with diverse organizations as an online community manager, and within communications committees. He has also been involved in other marketing initiatives such as product launches, experiential marketing, business development, and networking socials where he has been responsible for presentations in front of 200+ people. His efforts have helped increase the organization’s SEO, events’ attendance, and revenues. His current goal is to become a permanent employee in a progressive, evolving company that utilizes technology and innovation. He is looking for a role where he can grow professionally and personally, and continue learning while contributing to the company’s success.
