Ali Okan got involved with the computer world at a young age and has worked in various positions in the IT sector for a long time. He holds an MSc in Geographic Information Systems from Dokuz Eylül University’s Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences and is also an Offensive Security Professional (OSCP). Over the years, he has held roles such as technical consultant, security consultant, developer, Unix/Linux system engineer, and Oracle database administrator. As a Whitehat ethical hacker, he has provided security feedback to numerous public institutions, universities, and companies. In his free time, he contributes to efforts that foster information security awareness in Türkiye, while continuing his professional career at Tenable after IBM Security.
