Alisa Arkinzadeh

A professional engaged in the not-for-profit sector, Alisa Arkinzadeh serves San Diego's Museum of Making Music in the capacity of officer of development. In the short time since she joined the organization in 2012, Alisa Arkinzadeh has been successful in the acquisition of grants, and has also achieved a nearly 95-percent rise in donations to the annual fundraising drive.

Prior to accepting her present position, Alisa Arkinzadeh cultivated a decades-long relationship with the Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA), where she started out in 1991 as program director for the Mission Valley branch of the organization. From there, she became senior program director at the Palomar Family YMCA in Escondido, California, in 1998. Returning to the Mission Valley YMCA in 2001, she carried out responsibilities as department head until 2004, after which she became associate executive director. In 2008, she was promoted to executive manager of the Mission Valley and Toby Wells YMCA, a position she held until 2012.

Alisa Arkinzadeh, a graduate of Springfield College and the Executive Development Institute, holds a bachelor's degree in human services. An avid runner, she has completed 16 marathons.
