Dr. Alisa Kasachkoff has operated a New York City-based psychotherapy practice since 1972, through which she also acts as a psychological consultant to firms. With the practice, Dr. Alisa Kasachkoff has specialized in spiritual coaching and counseling.

As such, she has worked with multiple religious organizations across the country. With her therapeutic clients, she has gained expertise in diagnostics and other services focused on improving a patient’s mental and emotional well-being.

Since 1986, Dr. Kasachkoff has also served as a faculty professional of psychology and associate professional in the department of medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital. In the roles, she supervises psychiatric residents while providing adjunct psychological services when needed.

She also teaches the classes Psychotherapy and Dynamics of Stress and Trauma. Since joining the hospital, she has served as a consultant to the United States Government, where she focused on trauma resulting from the 9/11 attacks. Dr. Alisa Kasachkoff has also consulted Gracie Square Hospital and guest lectured at New York University.

She has three doctoral degrees in psychotherapy.
