Ali Al Sammarraie

Ali helps governments and organizations make informed decisions pertaining to cities and their infrastructure & mobility plans, as well as development strategies. He has worked with the World Bank, the DC Government, MIT & Harvard, and others. Ali heads the City Planning function of Etihad Rail – the national UAE Railway company – and some of his achievements include leading the National Railway Masterplan and spearheading the Etihad Rail stations’ architectural design. Al Sammarraie has a cumulative experience of over 17 years and holds a Master in City Planning from MIT-Harvard, and a Bachelor's in Architecture from the American University of Sharjah – Louisiana State University.
