Alisha Runckel

I’m a born-and-raised Oregonian who currently resides in Portland. I’m a “people person” to the core, and I spend much of my day connecting with others. Professionally, I’ve grown my career from freelance designer, to marketing assistant, to my current role as a marketing and public relations director. In my current position, I play an integral part in new product development. From there, I get to come up with fun and creative ways to communicate those new products to our audience. I’ve been a part of the marketing industry for over eight years, and have contributed to the strategy, design and development of projects for some exceptional companies during those years.

As the marketing and public relations director at Crafts Americana, I am responsible for developing content and overseeing execution for our social media campaigns, weekly emails, online and print advertisements, and press releases. I am also responsible for representing my company at trade show events, and in one-on-one meetings with editors. Finally, I am responsible for staying apprised of things happening in the tech industry, and incorporating new technology when appropriate. The thing I love most about my job is that I get to help frame the voice of our company through one-on-one interactions with both our customers and the press, every day. On a personal and professional level, I have realized goals that I never would have thought possible.
