Alison Kosakowski Conant

Richmond, Vermont

After a decade working and living in the NYC area, I fell for a farmer, skipped town, and settled in Vermont, where I now use the marketing skills I acquired on Madison Avenue to advance local agriculture.

My husband is a 6th generation dairy farmer, and we live together on the family farm in Richmond, Vermont. I am the Director of Communications and Policy for the Vermont Agency of Agriculture. I am also a freelance writer, with a focus on agriculture, food, and sustainability.

I've been profiled by Glamour Magazine, Fast Company, Hootsuite, and The Story with Dick Gordon

In my free time, I love to garden, ski, and document life on our farm at
