I'm interested in two many things. I teach in Democracy and Justice Studies, everything from law to politics to storytelling to gender and in between. I work on political economy and democratic theory, particularly interested in how divisions of labor have been politically produced and what this means for citizenship. I see this is the advocacy of 20th century Prohibition and Repeal advocates, but also in the fiction of Flannery O'Connor and the political theory of Hannah Arendt. I'm also fascinated with literary and legal representations of corporate power.
