Alison Butler's debut novel "The Hanging of Margaret Dickson" was published June 2013 by Thames River Press, London and has received 50 + five star reviews to date.

Alison republished her debut novel 2015, after her book was optioned for film. The screenplay is currently being completed by Kate Coogan and Morag Siller.
