Alison Moxley is a published author, writer and workshop presenter. She has worked with a number of non-profit organizations in the New York City area as a grantwriter, and has brought more than $250,000 in grants for various organizations.

Alison Moxley has also hosted a lecture series titled, "Earning a Living as a Freelancer," to audiences at the Queens Public Library. A graduate of St. John's University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism, Alison Moxley excels in writing and media relations.

Currently she works as a grantwriter for a small New York non-profit. In the past she has worked as a literacy coach, middle school Journalism teacher and Web content writer.

She devotes her time and funds regularly to charities near to her heart. Her favorite charity, IndyKids, is an independent, kid-run newspaper headquartered in New York.

Alison Moxley enjoys watching the New York City Marathon and plans to complete it in her lifetime. She is currently training to run a 5K.

Alison resides in New York with her family.
