Alison Lam has been involved in the aviation industry since 2010. She owns and operates AeroCare International, a cross-provincial aircraft grooming and maintenance company that offers technical manpower, interior cleaning and exterior wash services to business jets as well as commercial aircraft. For 23 years now, AeroCare has offered dedicated, reliable quality aircraft services at competitive rates, making it one of the oldest companies of its kind in both Ontario and Quebec.
Alison also volunteers extensively, participating on the boards of directors and committees of different non-profit organizations, including her current role as President of Driftwood Theatre Group, Ontario’s leading outdoor summer theatre company touring in over 25 communities across the province, and has also been the President of the Canadian Association of Women Executives and Entrepreneurs, one of Canada’s most respected networking organizations for professional women from a broad range of disciplines and industries, bringing her business and entrepreneurial expertise in an effort to promote their continued development.
Alison has also published papers in French and English and spoken at conferences in Canada, the United States and Europe, including engagements for Cross-Cultural Professionals Association of Canada, Junior Achievement Canada and GenHERation. She has been a judge for ELLE Canada's Impact2 for Women Social Entrepreneurship Competition and Editor-in-Chief of Acclaim magazine, CAWEE's quarterly publication with articles offering advice and insights in the community of businesswomen. Additionally, she has given lectures at Schulich School of Business, Dalhousie University, St. Mary's University and Mount Saint Vincent University.
With an MA from Queen’s University in French Literature and an MBA from the Kellogg-Schulich Global Executive MBA Program, Alison brings a unique perspective to her career, projects and endeavours.
