Alison Schrag

Alison Schrag is a partner at Sherman Atlas Sylvester & Stamelman LLP, where she practices in the area of trusts and estates planning and administration. Licensed in both New York and New Jersey, she brings nearly twenty years of experience to the firm, helping clients navigate personal and financial planning with a focus on clarity and long-term security.

She began her legal career at a firm where she represented financial institutions and trustees in commercial disputes and cases involving fiduciary duty. That experience provided her with a solid foundation in litigation before she transitioned to a more focused practice in trusts and estates. Before joining her current firm, she was a partner at a New York-based boutique law firm that specialized in estate matters.

At Sherman Atlas, she provides legal counsel to individuals and families on estate planning, trust structuring, and administration. Her guidance helps clients protect their assets, plan for incapacity, and reduce the likelihood of family disputes.
