A Canadian national with Mongolian/Chinese roots, Alissa (Allie) started her career cultivating donorship and funding support to help find a cure for cancer. She worked for the Canadian affiliate of John Hopkins Hospital, Medcan, and The Princess Margaret Cancer Center in Toronto, Canada.
Subsequently, an university exchange semester at Singapore Management University led to her recruitment with The Singapore Tourism Board. Part of the Sports Business team for 2 years, Allie helped to anchor mega events to Singapore such as The 2014-2018 WTA Championships, as well as innovate consumer experiences and enhance sponsorship value for existing properties such as the world's only Formula One night race, The Singapore Grand Prix.
Currently at IMG Worldwide, Allie helps the business development team forge new partnerships and dream up new concepts for their diverse portfolio ranging from mass participant sporting events and avant garde culinary festivals, to entertainment and music acts by leading international artistes.
At the end of the day, Allie just hopes to use her skills, energy, and drive to make this world a better place in her lifetime.
