British born Alistair Powell has always had an interest in both property and business, and made a tidy profit from a website design agency he founded that targeted real estate professionals in the lucrative area of Sandbanks, in the south of England, when he was just 15 years old.
He progressed on to be Hamptons International's youngest ever sales manager at just 21 years old, had his own brokerage at the age of 23 with a physical presence in Panama, the Middle East, London, Shanghai and Manila and has held world-class exclusive agency marketing contracts for several globally recognized hotel and private residence brands.
Alistair came to the United States in 2009 to be closer to an unwell relative and accepted a position within Sotheby's International Realty in Miami Beach at their prestigious Ocean Drive and South of Fifth offices. He was instrumental in achieving a number of difficult sales and was one of the most visible agents in the South Florida area due to enhanced internet marketing campaigns and social media efforts.
