Aliyma Shakira Roots

Good afternoon, I’m Aliyma Shakira. I’m a student currently attending John Bowne High school living in Queens NY. My background is Cuban, Filipino, and Bajan. I work part-time in building management and often do local volunteer. In my pass time, I often enjoy watching boxing or mixed martial arts. Some traits that I carry are being humble and selfless. This helped me shape who I am as a person today by keeping me modest and having strong moral values. My biggest dream for the future is to become an industrial mechanic. Something that can often sadden me is miscommunication. But seeing the completion of my work brings me joy.
