My name is Anna Korbel and I am currently an Assistant Complex Director for KU Student Housing at the University of Kansas and a graduate student studying Higher Education Administration.
As a Student Affairs Professional my job may require me to be a supervisor, an advisor, a mom, a police officer, a mediator, a counselor, a motivator, a teacher, a mentor, a leader, or a friend. My job is to provide resources and support to students as they transition and navigate the college world.
In the world of Student Affairs, I am passionate about student leadership (I love me some NACURH involvement) and learning how to integrate social media practices to build communty and engage students.
Beyond the scopes of my job, I enjoy cooking and baking, spending time outdoors, learning about the latest social media platforms and watching the Olympics!
