Working online as a freelancer opened a new whole world for me, a world of opportunities, different experiences, and self confidence! I tasted the sweetness of maintaining the work-life balance.

I have graduated from Faculty of Sciences - Ain Shams University in 2009 and I hold a Bachelor degree in Geology and Chemistry. After graduation, I started in my 1st job which was an English teacher for pre-schoolers... and while I was working there, I received a call inviting me to my 2nd job, which was International Account Advisor at Vodafone - United Kingdom account.

Working at Vodafone has definitely enriched me a lot, but I had to quit to start the first step in building my own family.

In 2010, I started working at Hindawi Publishing Corporation as an Editorial Assistant, and before that time, my freelancing activities were starting to evolve. Besides working in the company, I started to take freelancing translation and creative writing projects, as well as some voice-overs every now and then.

In 2012, I joined the Elance mobilizers program and I became their local reperesentative in Cairo, Egypt, which turned to be the best thing that ever happened to me! The program made me experience the real power of having a virtual team and getting to know other mobilizers from all over the world who are actually... team mates! I was also lucky enough to make it to California in 2013 and visit Elance HQ in Mountain View and spend some time with the amazing marketing team!

In 2013, I have startd my new role as a Copyeditor in Hindawi... but on November 2013... I decided to kick-start the independent contractor challenge... I quit my full-time job and here I am... freelancing for life :)
