I’m passionate about innovation and believe collaboration is the key to success.

Following a successful undergraduate and masters, and UNSW University Medal, my career started as an engineer. Progressing to CEO of 500 people I saw the role of innovation in organisations.

Curious, I moved to the Australian Graduate School of Management to undertake research into innovation in large, leading organisations. Through AGSM, I was fortunate to learn from the best local and global leaders of change and growth. My company, Managed Innovation International was formed in 2002.

Through MII, my success delivering projects led to clients asking the same questions I had asked years before. How do organisations excel when they are already very good? Who do they learn from? How do they improve?

With the support of 12 leading organisations Hargraves Institute was formed in 2006. As founder, I am proud of over 100 organisations that form the members and alumni of our community and share our vision to lead innovation in Australia, for every working Australian.

I am committed to building high performing individuals, teams and organisations through innovation including mindset and strategy. My understanding of the best available tools, methods and processes for innovation and improvement brings out the positive strengths in my colleagues and clients.

My global network supports my passion and understanding the latest developments in the fast-changing world of innovation. Being appointed Adjunct Professor at UTS Business School for my work with leading organisations and teams recognises my respect for research and rigour to deliver best outcomes.

My latest venture, Catalyst Exchange, brings the cumulative knowledge into practical and accessible capability development programs available to everyone.

As President of Arthritis NSW, I enjoy the opportunity to serve the community and share my expertise in innovation to help and support individuals living with arthritis.
