Allen C. Huang is a boy who full of adventurous spirit. His Chinese name is Huang Yu-Lun (if you can call him his Chinese name, he must be very happy),born in a prosperous city, Taipei.

When he was a kid, he used to go up the mountain to catch insects, after he went to the college, he chose history as a major for his passion, but he also chose accounting as his second major. In an accounting class, Allen was came into a concept with social enterprise, it occurred to him that he could use the same concept to carry forward the history. From this time on, he was beginning to research academic and promoting public history. It is hoped that there will be more non-Asian countries on the earth can have a deeper understanding and more interest in Asia. Traveling to Asia will not longer just an experience, but about a context. This is his original intention to establish InDepthAsia. He attained the training of historical knowledge at university from many professional professors.

Next year he will go to the Chulalongkorn University in Thailand to start his studies in Southeast Asia, hoping to spread what he has learned to the public, but at the same time, he hopes not make public more but also to let the people who are really interested in Asia to have a deeper understanding. That’s the reason why he established the website, which helps people who are really interested in history get the way to learn. And he made blog and YouTube by separating the depth of the content to promote public history, in the meantime it can also popularize academic, expecting to bring what the public thinks boring academics to our lives.
