Hey there, I’m Allen. I'm a mechanical engineer graduate from Birla institute of technology and science, Dubai 2012-2016 Batch.

Currently Based out of : Mumbai.

Interests:

I am a fan of football, dogs, and music. I’m also interested in entrepreneurship, pollinating social change and innovation.

I like to learn and acquire new skills. Always failing and picking myself up, working in building resilient efficient teams so as to create a unified front with diverse core competencies.

Post Graduation:

2016-2017: As an SBI YFI Fellow

During my time as an SBI YFI fellow ,i have worked in rural schools teaching kids sports such as Kabbadi, kho-kho,cricket and football . Empowering boys and girls by creating a platform with them to showcase their talents and have also managed to get 2 girls selected for state level in Kabbadi .

2017-2020 : As a Project Lead

I used to work as a coordinator for a social enterprise in coffee which is women centric,low on carbon footprint and sustainable, housed under Barefoot Colleges flagship initiative to provide sustainable Livelihoods to rural women from remote tribal communities . We have also designed our very own solar powered Coffee Roasting Machine and have incorporated within the Livelihood models for empowering rural women to create a secondary source of income generation. I have managed to scaled it upto 550 rural women , decentralization through securing MSME SFURTI funding for cluster development.

2020- Present : As a Director

I have also taken the leap of faith amid the Covid-19 Global pandemic to develop a start-up company Nostimo Agro Tech LLP with 4 more exceptional diverse and experienced individuals, an agri tech company focused on delivering high quality, pure and natural consumer goods at a fair price ensuring dignified livelihoods to the farmers, beekeepers etc . Filling your mouths with a delicious after taste taking you back to rural roots of India.

Key Learnings:

I can say that I managed to experience immersive learning and apply them in areas such as social entrepreneurship,design thinking, conflict resolution, risk assessment, sustainability, crisis management, operations management and coming up with costs cutting solutions for the same .As a result i have managed to hone and adopt a more creative approach to tackle realistic problems .
