Earlier in Allen’s career he pursued a professional career in Sports Radio. The idea stemmed from listening to Jack Buck announce ‘Cardinal’ Baseball Games as a kid with his father on the AM dial. Allen, was fascinated by the visuals of the game created by voice. Allen, assumed the role as the Public Address announcer in college for all sporting events and quickly established himself as the voice of Griffith basketball.
For the past 5 years Allen has worked as a Territory Sales Manager at Reynolds America, where he managed 89 to 130 accounts from box chain accounts to the convenience channel. Allen has a passion for small business owners reaching their gross-profit goals by informed decisions.
In addition to being an active volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, Local Food Banks, Ronald McDonald House and Santa Barbara beach clean ups. Allen is known for gifting the less fortunate with slightly used or new Sneakers whenever he can. Allen graduated from Fontbonne University in St Louis MO with a Bachelors of Science in Sports Management.
