Alley is a registered E-RYT yoga instructor offering public classes in San Francisco and private instruction in Marin. Alley is a graduate of Institute of Transpersonal Psychology with her Master's degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology. She completed extensive and rigorous practicum at the Community Institute of Psychotherapy which included leading groups at schools in San Rafael. Alley’s public yoga classes are best described as fluid and dynamic vinyasa, linking a continuous flow of breath and movement, to allow students to experience their own bodies with greater awareness and freedom. Her private instruction includes individual attention to alignment, therapeutics, breath work and meditation. She encourages her students to become the masters of their own being by guiding a safe and enthusiastic practice.
Alley also integrates community service with the practice of Yoga, most recently participating in Yoga for Hope, a fundraiser held in Union Square to raise money for aids, cancer and diabetes research. Alley believes it is important to go within through the practice of Yoga, to act out in the world in the most positive and beneficial way to serve the local and global community.
