After waiting three years to collaborate on another project, It wasn’t until 2007 when Alley Kat decided to drop a follow up album, his second official album titled “The Story Of C. Smart”. This album was also a collaboration with longtime producer Robin David. For this project, Robin David composed a set of instrumental soundscapes which would form the foundation of a musical novel allowing each track to blend together in linear form and coincide like a comic strip, book or movie over music. Upon releasing this album, once again, Alley Kat collided with the business and the public side of the music industry. Fans noticed his passion was there and the songs were unique, but he wasn’t touring as much and was starting to show signs that he was go back into his shell. When asked about the music he released between 2004 and 2014 as “Alley Kat” -Tommy replies "I started with nothing, my dad was in prison - I was 17 years old, nothing mattered at that time so it made since that my homies call me “Alley Kat”. However, I have grown up and now its time for my fans to grow with me". "Music has to evolve with the person and the artist", says Tommy. Out side of his music projects, he is known for his rehabilitation program called Reparation Movement Organization which he has been building with his father since 2007.
