SVP Communications in Washington, DC
Allie is charged with spreading the word about "people and ideas that can change the world" in her role leading communications and marketing teams for Revolution and the Case Foundation, the venture capital firm and nonprofit family foundation created by former AOL executives Jean and Steve Case.
At Revolution, she has spearheaded communications for a number of initiatives led by Steve Case, including the debut of his bestselling book, The Third Wave, and the Rise of the Rest Road Trip which has received significant national attention. She has also led the communications efforts for the firm's institutional funds, Revolution Growth and Revolution Ventures, raising the visibility of the firm, its executives and its portfolio companies.
At the Case Foundation, she has led the communications and marketing efforts around the launch of several major initiatives, including the Startup America Partnership, a national effort to promote entrepreneurship launched at the White House in January 2011, and the Foundation's "Be Fearless" campaign, an effort to drive innovation in the social sector. As a member of the executive team, Allie also works closely with the Foundation's CEO Jean Case, and her fellow executive team members to help set the priorities and strategic direction of the organization.
She was previously a director of communications for AOL, where she served as a company spokesperson for consumer advocacy and public policy, managed international communications initiatives and led PR efforts for MapQuest and AOL’s commerce and marketplace sites.
Prior to AOL, Allie spent time at Boston and DC-based communications firms managing a range of public and investor relations initiatives for technology companies. She also served in an investor relations role at Boston-based venture capital firm Atlas Venture.
Allie was also part of the public relations team for the Travel Channel, where she was charged with communicating the network’s multi-platform strategy.
She received her MBA with honors from Thunderbird School of Global Management and holds a B.S., magna cum laude, from Boston University.
