Allison is a public speaker, having guest lectured and presented at SXSW, Plug & Play, BMW iVentures, NJ Tech, NYU, CUNY, Georgetown University, Columbia University, Mississippi State University, the Coalition for Queens, the East Harlem School, the Chandler School, and Mayfield Senior School. She is a dynamic speaker and presenter, having represented brands such as WeWork via national ad campaigns.

Allison has been featured in myriad local, national, and international publications, including Inc.,Fox 5 News, andFast Company.

A serial entrepreneur, Allison created two pedestrian navigation apps: one that enabled people to share their experiences of city streets and another that gives directions based on visual cues -- e.g. walk towards McDonald's, make a right at Chase Bank -- instead of north/south. The first app hit #3 in Navigation Apps, became the #1 walking navigation app, and acquired 500,000 monthly active users in a mere 6 months with $0 paid in marketing or PR. The second received accolades and awards, including BMW's Future of Mobility Competition, McDonald's Innovation in Transportation Challenge at SXSW, and WeWork's Demo Day.

Prior to entrepreneurship, Allison managed communications and business development at Network for Good (NFG), a social good technology company. A prolific writer, she doubled NFG's blog readership and was a guest writer on platforms such as LinkedIn, Edelman's goodpurpose blog, Armchair Advocates, and the Truman Project's Doctrine blog. Allison has congressional, human and civil rights, and international experience through her work on Capitol Hill, with organizations such as MassEquality, and UK Member of Parliament Karen Buck's office.

Allison served
