Allison is currently the Nurse Manager of the Adult Medical Intensive Care Unit at Yale New Haven Hospital. She has been a Registered Nurse with a specialty in critical care for over 10 years.
Professional interests include critical care nursing research, with a focus on nursing recruitment and retention during the COVID pandemic.
She currently chairs the Medicine Service Line Workforce Retention Committee and is also chair of the department's Community Service Committee.
She is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing
Allison was born in upstate New York and moved to Connecticut in 2011 to pursue her career goals. Personal interests include baking, music, travel, and gardening. She enjoys spending time on the water boating and exploring local biking trails.
