I am a native Los Angeleno currently completing my credentialing coursework at UCLA. I discovered my love for teaching while volunteering at an enrichment program for at-risk youth in New Orleans. I currently teach high school students with Autism in my home town of Culver City.
I believe that all people, regardless ofrace, gender, socioeconomic background, or cognitive ability, have the capacity to learn and succeed. It is our job as educators to provide students with the tools and instruction necessary to make success an inevitability.
In my free time, I play violin, visit art galleries, and watch movies with friends. I also enjoy camping and backpacking.
"Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire."
