A born-and-bred New Yorker, she comes from a family of lawyers and has experience and expertise across a range of legal disciplines.
Allison Scollar’s specialty for more than a decade was real estate law. As an attorney and broker she has worked with many banner names from the business and entertainment world and alongside some of the country’s most powerful corporations.
In her former role as partner at Gold Scollar Moshan, she handled all aspects of real estate transactions, representing individuals, businesses and banks in the sale and acquisition of New York residential property, commercial financing, commercial leasing, and preparing and filing offering plans.
Allison Scollar has been a central figure in the real estate industry over the last ten years as New York City has gone through an unprecedented boom and period of extraordinary change.
Allison Scollar has been a fixture in the city’s cultural scene since she was a student.
Prior to undertaking a law degree at St John’s University, Allison Scollar studied poetry at New York University’s Gallatin School and indulged a love of music and fine arts.
Currently, she is a board member of the Concert Artists Guild, helping young classical musicians launch their careers and working extensively with artists and galleries to lease space, sell work internationally, and donate projects to institutions. She also regularly lectures the wider professional real estate community on issues such as Artist In Residence zoning issues.
Allison Scollar serves on the board of literary body, Pen Parentis, an acclaimed New York non-profit offering support and opportunities for parents who are writers.
