Artist/Photographer

With an art degree from UC Davis in sculpture, turns out I'm a compulsive photographer. For years I documented the well-known local Sacramento music scene and beyond, and worked professionally for publications, labels and bands. Then my work became more personal as I struggled with the want of a journal while lacking a penchant for written word. Facebook became a daily gallery for my visual diary, and real & virtual walls followed. Any image I've taken is available as a print.

Singer/Musician

As a kid I always sang the harmony line and got to keep doing it when I grew up. I've had the great honor of singing and recording with some of my favorite musicians from the Sacramento area and beyond: Kevin Seconds (7Seconds & also is my husband!), Anton Barbeau, Jonah Matranga (Far), David Houston, Kepi Ghoulie (Groovie Ghoulies), Sal Valentino (Beau Brummels), Mike Hale (Gunmoll), Andrew Jackson Jihad..

I also do a solo singing project that started with singer/songwriter Anton Barbeau and now with Kevin & a band of friends.

I recorded the CD Bag of Kittens with Anton partially in Sacramento and finished it in Cambridge, England. We played shows across the UK & an epic Parisian adventure where we filmed this video for the project's first song, 'I Used to Say Your Name'. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6sMn9qk9bmw
