Born and bred in Skegness, university education mainly in Birmingham. Worked in EFL in Bournemouth and as a mother-tongue language assistant in Ljubljana. Moved to Germany in 1989, where I have lived in Hamburg, Weinheim and Sulzberg. Also spent 4 years in Crema, Italy and 2 in Nairobi, Kenya. Still happily married to Willi and proud mother of 3 fine, grown-up children.
