Dr. Alok Mohan is a senior ‘Indian Police Service’ (IPS) officer and is presently serving as the Director General of Police, Prisons and Correctional Services for the State of Karnataka. He has more than 34 years of valuable Senior Management experience in the state, national and international levels in the areas of ‘Law Enforcement’, ‘National Security’ and ‘Public Services Management’.

Dr. Alok Mohan is known for his analytical and strategic approach and has served in many challenging and critical assignments. During various assignments, he is credited with conceptualization of innovative and transformative ideas and their implementation leading to systemic changes in the organizations. His professional specializations include ‘National Security Management’, ‘Crisis Management’, and ‘Strategic Management’. He has also served on the ‘Board of Directors’ of 6 of the public sector companies in the state.
