Alon Tsimbal

I am a customer-oriented, business-minded individual who has significant experience in a start-up business. While working for Nine West I recognized a business opportunity where women were not able to find a pair of boots that fit their calves. After some research and networking within the industry I established Leon's Boot Alterations; a niche company that specializes in custom alterations of boots.

Marketing was one of the most essential components of the business. I gained experience in B2B marketing by forming partnerships with over 30 stores across the Greater Toronto Area and serving over 500 customers each season.

In addition to my entrepreneurial experience, I am currently working towards my Bachelor of Administrative Studies in Finance and Marketing. I recently came back from a six-month study-abroad program in Australia where I studied International Marketing. I took courses in Brand Management and Consumer Behaviour where I made excellent PowerPoint presentations which I presented to over 40 people. Having maintained a 3.5+ GPA score, I plan to pursue a Masters degree in Marketing.

Currently I am working as a Sales Development Rep where I manage a pipeline of opportunities through web and telephone interactions and drive revenue for IBM
